A few simple tips are enough to optimize your luggage and have everything you need to enjoy your sailing vacation.

The following items are definitely recommended:

1. Sunglasses.
2. Windbreaker.
3. Light T-shirt to wear during daytime sailing for sun protection.
4. Comfortable shoes with soft, non-slip rubber soles.
5. A sweatshirt/fleece for the evening.
6. Snorkeling equipment (Mask, snorkel, fins, and if possible, a shirt for sun protection).
7. Sunscreen.
8. Waterproof bag (You might need it to protect documents and phone during tender transfers).
9. At least 2 spare swimsuits.
10. Beach towel.
11. Comfortable clothes for exploring the islands.
12. Optional GoPro or similar camera (preferably splash-resistant or better yet, waterproof) to capture the best moments.
13. Biodegradable body wash (There are specific types for boat life, you can lather with seawater and rinse with fresh water).

Pack everything in a soft duffel bag so it can be easily stowed in the lockers, leaving cabin space free.

Don’t forget your ID, credit card, and some cash in euros; on the islands, not everyone may accept credit cards.
