Je nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edm ostrovem, nejlidnat\u011bj\u0161\u00edm a spojen\u00fdm s pevninou. Centrem no\u010dn\u00edho \u017eivota je Marina Corta, kde se nach\u00e1z\u00ed ru\u0161n\u00e9 bary, restaurace a zmrzlin\u00e1rny. St\u00e1le si zachov\u00e1v\u00e1 kouzlo star\u00e9 ryb\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9 vesnice, zejm\u00e9na kdy\u017e se vyd\u00e1te vpravo od mal\u00e9 svatyn\u011b San Giuseppe a dojdete do mal\u00e9 \u010dtvrti Sopra la Terra, kter\u00e1 je protk\u00e1na mal\u00fdmi uli\u010dkami a jej\u00edm\u017e centrem je n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed Piazzetta delle arti e dei mestieri s n\u00e1st\u011bnn\u00fdmi malbami. Z Marina corta se po Via Garibaldi dostanete na Piazza Mazzini, odkud vede cesta k hradu s archeologick\u00fdm nalezi\u0161t\u011bm, katedr\u00e1lou a Liparsk\u00fdm muzeem. K hradu se dostanete tak\u00e9 po schodech, kter\u00e9 spojuj\u00ed Via Garibaldi s katedr\u00e1lou. \u010ctvrtina cesty po schodech vede labyrintem s\u00edt\u011b uli\u010dek pod hradbami. V bl\u00edzkosti n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed Piazza Mazzini stoj\u00ed za n\u00e1v\u0161t\u011bvu uli\u010dky Sotto Monastero. Hlavn\u00ed ulic\u00ed je Corso Vittorio Emanuele, v\u017edy p\u0159epln\u011bn\u00e1 turisty a lipa\u0159i. Zde, stejn\u011b jako na Via Garibaldi, je mo\u017en\u00e9 nakupovat a ochutnat typick\u00e9 v\u00fdrobky. Jakmile opust\u00edte star\u00e9 m\u011bsto, m\u016f\u017eete se v\u011bnovat zbytku ostrova. Od Marina lunga se severn\u00edm sm\u011brem dostanete do Canneto. Je to druh\u00e9 nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed m\u011bsto na ostrov\u011b s kr\u00e1snou pl\u00e1\u017e\u00ed, trattoriemi a bary. Odtud se dostanete k pemzov\u00fdm lom\u016fm a do Forgia vecchia. Hlavn\u00ed silnice p\u0159ij\u00ed\u017ed\u00ed do Acquacaldy, p\u011bkn\u00e9 vesni\u010dky na pob\u0159e\u017e\u00ed, a pak stoup\u00e1 do Quattropani, odkud vede odbo\u010dka vlevo ke kostelu Chiesa Vecchia, odkud je n\u00e1dhern\u00fd v\u00fdhled na Salinu a za jasn\u00e9ho po\u010das\u00ed na Filicudi a Alicudi. Dal\u0161\u00ed odbo\u010dka vpravo vede do Caolina, m\u00fdtiny bohat\u00e9 na miner\u00e1ly. Z Quattropani se pak dostanete do Pianoconte, oblasti obd\u011bl\u00e1van\u00e9 vinicemi. Odtud vede asfaltov\u00e1 cesta k term\u00e1ln\u00edm l\u00e1zn\u00edm San Calogero. Z Pianoconte se sj\u00ed\u017ed\u00ed sm\u011brem do centra Lipari a za n\u011bkolik minut se dostanete k Belvederu Quattrocchi, odkud m\u016f\u017eete obdivovat Faraglioni a Vulcano. Z Quattrocchi je to 20 minut ch\u016fze na kr\u00e1snou pl\u00e1\u017e Valle Muria. P\u0159i n\u00e1vratu na silnici sm\u011brem do centra Lipari naraz\u00edte na kostel\u00edk Annunziata se zvl\u00e1\u0161tn\u00edm schodi\u0161t\u011bm. Na ostrov\u011b se m\u016f\u017eete vydat na \u010detn\u00e9 proch\u00e1zky. Podn\u011btn\u00e1 je tak\u00e9 okru\u017en\u00ed j\u00edzda kolem ostrova. Z Marina corta se vyd\u00e1te na jih a po objet\u00ed Punta Crapazza dojdete na pl\u00e1\u017e Vinci, kde se m\u016f\u017eete vykoupat s v\u00fdhledem na Faraglioni a Vulcano. Pokra\u010dujeme sm\u011brem k Faraglioni Pietra Lunga a Pietra Menalda, pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b nechvaln\u011b proslul\u00fdm skal\u00e1m, p\u0159\u00ed\u010din\u011b \u010detn\u00fdch ztroskot\u00e1n\u00ed lod\u00ed, o nich\u017e Odysseovi vypr\u00e1v\u011bla \u010darod\u011bjka Circe. D\u00e1le p\u0159ij\u00ed\u017ed\u00edme k l\u00e1vov\u00e9mu v\u00fdb\u011b\u017eku Punta del Perciato, p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edmu skaln\u00edmu oblouku, kter\u00fdm lze proplout na mal\u00e9m \u010dlunu. P\u0159ed Perciatem se nach\u00e1zej\u00ed mal\u00e9 sk\u00e1ly zvan\u00e9 Le formiche (Mravenci). P\u0159es Punta di Levante se dostanete na pl\u00e1\u017e Valle Muria. Za Punta delle Fontanelle, kter\u00e1 je na ja\u0159e pokryta pestrobarevn\u00fdmi kv\u011bty, se objev\u00ed sk\u00e1la Pietra del Bagno s pob\u0159e\u017e\u00edm pln\u00fdm jeskyn\u00ed.                             Cestou naraz\u00edte na z\u00e1toky Cala Fico a Punta Palmeto s osam\u011bl\u00fdmi pl\u00e1\u017eemi. Odtud m\u016f\u017eete nav\u0161t\u00edvit jeskyni Grotta del Palmeto a vykoupat se ve Faraglioni le Torricelle. Jakmile minete Punta del Legno Nero, dostanete se nejprve do vesnice Acquacalda a k oslniv\u011b b\u00edl\u00fdm pemzov\u00fdm lom\u016fm. Kolem pl\u00e1\u017ee Papesca doraz\u00edte do Canneto.
